Available in 1984—Suspended 1988 The Jesus Loves Me Girl is one of the first two vinyl dolls ever produced by Jonathon and David Company. I don't find a year on her. The sweet little (14") girl has straight blond hair that has a tuft of hair pulled up in a ponytail on the top of its head and fastened with a pink bow, has blue eyes, and wears a white nightgown with a little pastel flower accent sewn on the front at the neckline. This doll has a tag that explains how Bible school students began to produce the dolls for Precious Moments in order to support their tuition. Stand included.
