Trouble with Live Chat

Troubleshooting

We know what it's like to finally get to the task of creating your inventory and get stuck with a question ... for your convenience, we offer LIVE CHAT on this site to help answer those questions as quickly as they come up.

HOW TO ACCESS LIVE CHAT

1. Locate the black tab across the bottom left corner of the window that says 'Questions?  Ask now ...'

2. Click that tab and it will enlarge.

'Sorry, we have stepped away' = CHAT IS OFFLINE

1. Enter your name, email and question

2. Click SEND EMAIL

This will send your question to us by email and we'll get back to you as soon as we're back online.  Please allow up to 24 business hours.

'Chat with us!' = CHAT IS ONLINE

1. Enter your name and email

2. Click SEND CHAT REQUEST.

This will notify us that you have asked a question and will respond as soon as we can.

TROUBLESHOOTING

For best results, this chat features recommends using Chrome 17+, Firefox 10+, Safari 5+, or IE 10+. IE 9 is adequate.  AOL Desktop is not supported, but you can switch to IE 9 and above to access the chat.

If you do not get a response within a couple of minutes of initiating a chat, there may be a problem with the connection.  You can close the window and try again, or try to reach us directly through email:  info.cd@collectiblesdatabase.com

TIP:  For some reason, the LIVE CHAT window will occasionally disconnect as you navigate to different pages on the site.  We apologize for this.  If that happens to you, we are not 'hanging up' on you.  One way to avoid this is to click the icon with the arrow (top border of chat window).  This will open the chat in its own window, rather than share the main window.

TIP:  We will never end the chat unless you have exited the chat.  If you ever get disconnected, simply re-initiate the chat and you'll be reconnected.

HOW THE WINDOW WORKS

Initiate a LIVE CHAT:  click right onto the black tab or the + symbol

Make the Live Chat tab disappear altogether:  click the down arrow, reclicking the area will make it reappear

Collapse the open chat window:  click the – symbol

Open chat into it's own, separate window:  once tab is open, click the icon with the arrow
